We've been building web sites for customers since 1995. Presently we build database-driven web applications for small and medium-sized businesses. Our web applications are built using the latest Microsoft technologies and we've built many in-house applications and code-generators that help us build applications faster.
Evan Saxon Productions produces many entertainment-based events including films, and this was the latest. The movie was released on several screens across the United States on July 8, 2014. We had to create a website to display information about the movie and show fans where they could go to watch it, and how to get the DVD and Blu-ray.
For many years the City of La Quinta, CA had run their annual 13-week summer golf tour on paper. It's just a recreational golf series that just allows golfers who stay in the Palm Springs area during the summer, to get on many golf courses for really good greens fees, and gives golfers a chance to meet people. They wanted a more automated system that allowed golfers to register online and have the administrators be able to automate the scoring calculation and results.
After 10 years, they thought it was time to get an updated web site. They create plaques for documents, images, etc. and their old site was completely static where customers had to print the order form from an HTML page. They wanted a more online-looking website that allowed customers to fill out a form on the site that would be emailed to them. All the product information is much easier to manage quickly if they have more wood choices, colors, etc.
They were previously managing their customers in a ledger and they wanted a more streamlined and online method of managing their reservations and rooms. We built their site from the ground up with a complete online reservation system written in ASP.NET MVC and using SQL Server 2008 R2 as the database. The can manage rooms, upload new pictures for the rooms and have complete control over their reservations.
DepSci produces optical thin film coatings. They needed a face lift and also a custom CMS to manage various pages in the site. The also wanted a way of managing inquiries from customers and the ability to respond to them in a Dashboard. We built an elaborate Dashboard that allowed them to manage many different areas of the site all through a browser-based interface.
PG & O is a global supplier of highest quality precision glass, optics, and thin film optical coatings. Since their site was built back in the '90's, they severely needed a website facelift. They also wanted to manage content for their site through a Dashboard, so we built a custom web application that allowed them to manage many aspects of their site on their own.
The Aloha Golf Club is a group of Hawaiian golfers that play various golf courses around the Southern California area and they wanted a site that would allow them to post information, articles, photos, and manage tournament results. We built the custom web application that integrates with a custom Microsoft Excel application that we also built that allows them to manage and process golf tourament results and then sync them with the web site. In addition, we also built a Dashboard that allows them to manage the online content for the site, including their membership.
We built this site to provide learning content to web developers who want to use the Model/View/Controller (MVC) pattern. This site is one of a family of sites that provide learning content for various subjects, such as PHP, Code generation, WCF, and many other technologies. Knowing that this would be one of many sites that all operate the same, but provide different content, we were able to build a single code-base for all the sites and simply allow the Administrator to easily deploy a new site with little effort. That along with a single Dashboard for all sites, created a simple way for users to create content for any of the sites.
Sierra-Olympic Technologies needed an upgrade to their Tamarisk IR product web site and they also wanted to a way to manage and upload video and image content that could be viewed on any device. We built that custom web application to allow them to upload videos in their Dashboard. To manage uploads we built a framework that connected to the Vid.ly video encoding service and consumed their RESTful API. Videos are automatically uploaded to an Amazon S3 account and then encoded by Vid.ly for any device.
